St. George's Golf Club Bermuda

As of August 2008, St George's Golf Course was closed by Premier Ewart Brown. It has been given for use to the new Park Hyatt Hotel
going up on the old Club Med location.

The St. George's public Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is a par 62; 4.043 yard course. The course is located on Bermuda
's east end and is within easy walking distance of the historic Town of St George. The links range along hillsides with imposing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Wind velocity will be an important factor in your game. On an island known for its windy courses, this is the most exposed to the elements. On a couple of the par 3s, for instance, you may need anything from a nine iron to a driver to reach the green. You'll need concentration, proper club selection and, finally, very careful shot selection.

in reference to:

"This was one of the last designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior prior to his retirement. The 18th hole is named after Bermuda's first Governor, Richard Moore.  One of the greens overlooks historic Fort St. Catherine."
